Locate Requests
Locate requests can be submitted online via ITICnxt or over the phone by calling either 1-800-428-4950 or 8-1-1.* The Dig Safe North Idaho center accepts locate requests from contractors, homeowners, or anyone else planning to dig in Idaho’s Bonner, Boundary, or Kootenai counties.
*Please note that the 811 call-routing system is based on the physical location you are calling from and/or the cell tower that routes your call. Dialing 811 from outside or near the Bonner, Boundary, or Kootenai County lines could result in your call being routed to a different call center. To reach the Dig Safe North Idaho 811 center directly, please call 1-800-428-4950.
