The Dig Safe North Idaho 811 center supports 811 services for Bonner, Boundary, and Kootenai counties in Idaho.

It is vitally important that you call or submit a locate request before digging on any project—large or small. Locate requests can be submitted online via ITICnxt or over the phone by calling either 1-800-428-4950 or 8-1-1.* The Dig Safe North Idaho center accepts locate requests from contractors, homeowners, or anyone else planning to dig in Idaho’s Bonner, Boundary, or Kootenai counties.

*Please note that the 811 call-routing system is based on the physical location you are calling from and/or the cell tower that routes your call. Dialing 811 from outside or near the Bonner, Boundary, or Kootenai County lines could result in your call being routed to a different call center. 2026 Bonner Boundary Utility Coordinating Council Update: The Bonner Boundary Utility Coordinating Council entered into an agreement with One Call Concepts, Inc. (OCC), under which OCC provides all one call services for Bonner and Boundary counties in Idaho, effective January 1, 2026.As of January 1, 2026, locate requests for Idaho’s Bonner or Boundary counties are being processed through the Dig Safe North Idaho 811 center, operated by OCC.
